Privacy & Terms

The short version
- No accounts, no ads, no payments.
- Stanfall itself doesn't sell or share your personal data, and we don't build a profile of you on our servers.
- Three outside services are involved: the YouTube embedded player (Google) receives data such as your IP address and playback info when a video plays, under the Google Privacy Policy; Umami counts anonymous events as our service provider; Vercel (hosting) processes standard request logs, including IP address.
- Your likes stay on your device.
What we store
- On your device only (browser storage). Your likes, the videos you passed on or have seen, a short list of videos that failed to play on your device (so they don't come back), and small UI flags (for example, that you've seen a tip). This lives in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. A few counters for the current visit (such as how many cards you've swiped) live in session storage and are cleared when you close the tab.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and a few app events (a swipe right or left on a card, a like in the viewer, opening an artist's videos, watching in the viewer, "falling for" an artist, opening a For-you pick). Events carry only an artist id, a video type, simple counts and coarse ranges (for example a video's view-count range or roughly how long a card played). No cookies, no names, no emails, no cross-site tracking.
- Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run and secure the service.
YouTube and other third parties
- Videos, thumbnails and titles come from YouTube. When the YouTube player loads or plays a video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies or similar technologies on your device and collect data under the Google Privacy Policy. Thumbnails load directly from YouTube's servers.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts.
- We don't show ads and don't let any third party show ads in Stanfall.
Not affiliated
Stanfall is an independent fan-discovery app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any artist, agency, broadcaster or YouTube. Videos play from official channels through the YouTube embedded player; all trademarks and content belong to their owners.
How we use it
Likes and history on your device pick the next videos and build your taste profile, right in your browser. Anonymous statistics tell us which features help people discover K-pop. Hosting logs keep the site running and safe.
Delete your data
- In the app: open the Taste tab and tap Reset ("Reset likes and start fresh") to erase your likes, passes and history.
- Everything: clear this site's data in your browser settings (site data / cookies and site data). That removes all Stanfall storage on the device, including the failed-video list, immediately.
- We hold no account data about you, so there is nothing else to delete on our side. Hosting logs expire on Vercel's standard schedule.
